How do I place an order?

  1. Add desired products to your cart on our website.

  2. Go to your Cart and select Pick Up or Delivery to view our availability calendar.

  3. Choose an available date (unavailable dates will be greyed out).

  4. Complete checkout. Your order is not finalized until you receive a confirmation email from us.

All orders require a minimum of one week’s notice, based on availability. Please note that we often book several weeks in advance, and availability may change at any time.

What are your pick up hours?

Cakes and cupcakes are available for pickup Thursdays–Saturdays, 10am–3pm, based on availability. We do not have a storefront and all orders must be pre-ordered through our website.

Do you offer delivery?

We offer limited delivery through Uber Courier to select areas. During checkout, you can enter your zip code to see if delivery is available to your location.

Please ensure that someone is present at the delivery address to receive the order. If no one is available, the courier will leave the order at the nearest safe location to the delivery address. Once an order leaves our kitchen, we’re unable to be responsible for any damage, delays, or issues that may occur during transit.

What is your cancellation/modification policy?

Cancellations made more than one week prior to your pickup or delivery date are eligible for a full refund. For cancellations made within one week of your scheduled pickup or delivery, the full order total will be charged.

All order modifications must be requested no later than one week before your scheduled fulfillment date.

Do you offer custom cakes?

At this time, we do not offer fully custom cakes. However, we’re happy to accommodate slight modifications to the cakes currently available on our website, based on availability.

How long do your cakes stay fresh?

Our cakes stay fresh for up to 3 days from pickup when properly refrigerated. For best flavor and texture, remove the cake from the fridge about 4 hours before serving so that it can be served at room temperature. Please note that cakes with fresh flowers are best served the day of pickup, as flowers may wilt overnight.

Vanilla based cupcakes are best enjoyed the same day, while chocolate based cupcakes stay fresh through the next day. 

Can I make modifications to a cake flavor?

We’re happy to accommodate slight flavor modifications, such as removing a filling or switching a buttercream, when possible. Please include your request in the Notes section on a product page or send us an email at hello@fromflour.com, and we’ll let you know what can be accommodated.

Do you offer gluten-free, dairy-free, or sugar-free/lower sugar cakes?

At this time, we don’t offer gluten-free, dairy-free, or sugar-free/reduced sugar options, nor do we offer custom flavors beyond those listed on our menu. While we hope to expand our offerings in the future, we don’t have a timeline for when these options may become available. That said, we always love hearing your requests as they help guide what flavors and offerings we consider next.

How should I transport my cake?

  • Always lift and hold cake and cupcake boxes from the bottom

  • Do not tilt the box

  • Place the box on a flat surface in your car (floor or trunk works best)

  • On warm days, turn on the A/C

  • Drive carefully and avoid sudden stops

  • To remove cakes from the box, open one side of the box and gently slide the cake out by pulling the cake board 

What is the best way to serve and store my cake/cupcakes?

All of our cakes and cupcakes are best enjoyed at room temperature.

Cakes:
To ensure safe transport and a smooth finish, cakes are stored in the refrigerator prior to pickup. Please allow 3–4 hours for your cake to come fully to room temperature before serving (this may take longer in cooler weather). When cold, cakes and buttercream will feel firm and dry. This is normal and they will soften as they warm up. Individual slices, if cold, may even be warmed up in the microwave for 5-10 seconds to quickly come to room temperature.

Cupcakes:
Cupcakes should be stored and served at room temperature. On warmer days, they may be refrigerated briefly; if so, remove them from the fridge a few hours before serving to allow them to return to room temperature.
